At that time (end of 90s) a freeware pinball, which to my delight was developed also for the Mac, Roll 'm Up,! made its appearance. It was meant as an ad for the beer breweries Dommelsch.
The game is not bad, with physics acceptable (but, so-so flippers) and special effects that are of a far better taste than the ones of Sierra. In particular the rubber balls (with different elastic properties than the steel ones) are a very fine idea. It has even a multiball mode. It is only the second freeware Mac pinball (to my knowledge) and, as such, a most precious contribution.
